Trans Karoo - August 1988
In 1988 the Trans Karoo express train from Johannesburg to Cape Town was steam hauled on Fridays as far as Klerksdorp. This video follows the train with Class 25NC No.3476 in charge and observes the locomotive being turned on the "balloon" and being serviced before returning light engine to Millsite Depot at Krugersdorp.
