The Sahabat Quran Ibnu Mas'ud Islamic Boarding School offers a tiered program from the TAUD level, which teaches Quran reading for beginners, up to junior high school level. All levels at this Islamic school (ma'had) have memorization target programs, ranging from 2 juz to 30 juz. The memorization target for students in the Takhassus Tahfizh program at the junior high school level at this Ma'had is 30 juz within 3 years. However, even though the target is 30 juz, our priority at this Ma'had is good recitation and strong memorization, not the number of memorizations. The program also teaches how to memorize the Quran quickly and how to memorize it quickly without forgetting it. However, the most important thing is how the students can have a strong memorization and good recitation. In this Yufid TV documentary, Ustadz Izzudin hafidzahullah will also provide some tips for memorizing the Quran and the formula for memorizing it. The Quran memorization method at this Ma'had is called the SaQu Ibn Mas'ud Method. The results of this method target students to memorize 30 juz (chapters) using itqan, including memorizing verse locations and page numbers. So, in addition to being able to memorize 30 juz, students can also complete the entire 30 juz when tested with cut-out questions. Alhamdulillah, when this video was made in March 2022, four students had already mastered itqan using this method and will graduate with tahfidz (memorization) in the near future.
