Alum Creek to Bexley

The Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks are a tremendous asset to Central Ohio community. Please join me as I explore Three Creeks Metro Park and ride north on the Alum Creek Trail to Bexley. The Alum Creek Trail travels along one of the city’s most scenic river corridors, from Three Creeks Metro Park to Westerville. During this epic ride I venture through forests, cross over streams, and view the abundant wildlife on my way to Bexley, Ohio. As I travel north on the trail, the nature of the trail changes from rural to suburban and then to urban. The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and Central Ohio Greenways Board provide support to the coordinated effort of providing greenway trails in Central Ohio. Columbus Recreation and Parks Department designs, builds and manages the Greenway trails within the City of Columbus. Franklin County Metro Parks provides daily oversight for many sections of the Greenway trails within the City.
