Bluebeam - No Offset Function? No Problem! Part 1

2026 UPDATE - SEE THE ATTACHED VIDEO DEMONSTRATING BLUEBEAMS NEW OFFSET TOOL!    • Bluebeam - Offsets 2026!!!   Bluebeam can be frustrating sometimes as it doesn't have an offset function for when you are doing your markups eg if you want to make allowances for paths & patios where none are shown on a site layout or maybe you want to offset furniture a set distance from a wall. You certainly don't want to be adding endless amounts of 'helper' dimensions in order so you have everything offset correctly as well as being the correct size - this can be incredibly time consuming and will be likely to just create a complete mess on your drawing. One way to make this process easier is to create some 'helper' markups.... I've followed up this initial idea with a couple more examples as follows which I have to say really are much more helpful and quicker to use than this original, but I thought it was best to still show what I started with in this problem-solving process: - Part 2 - This example looks at using custom linestyles to create offsets and is especially helpful if you are dealing with curves or odd shapes -    • Bluebeam - No Offset Function?  No Problem...   Part 3 - This example expands on the custom linestyle idea and looks at using a double line for marking out a footpath around a house -    • Bluebeam - No Offset Function?  No Problem...   Part 4 - How to create the custom line styles used in Parts 2 and 3 -    • Bluebeam - No Offset Function?  No Problem...   - this is an ABSOLUTE MUST if you are trying to create offsets in Revu. #bluebeam #revu #bluebeamrevu #bluebeamtips #bluebeamtricks
