Tran Hung Dao had a majestic appearance, was more intelligent than others, had a broad knowledge, was talented in both literature and martial arts, devoted himself to studying the six tactics and three strategies of the ancients and devoted all his passion and knowledge to writing the works: Binh thu yeu luoc, Van Kiep tong bi truyen thu and Hich tuong si to teach generals how to lead troops to fight the enemy, and to encourage patriotism among the army and people of Dai Viet....
