Redwood Trees | 15 Years of Planting for Resilience
Over the past fifteen years, we have been on a journey to reforest the edges of the creek on Littorai's Gold Ridge Estate with some of the tallest trees on Earth, coastal redwoods. Our longest running employee, Lorenzo Galan has led this long-term project, transplanting over 300 trees, and has learned a lot about nurturing them through their infancy. Follow along as they scope new locations to transplant young saplings, discuss how forest generation can improve biodiversity in times of drought and discover the simple yet impactful motivation for this long-term vision.
