A friend of mine got tied up on 22.1.26 and we flew down all the way from Arunachal Pradesh to Shillong to be with her on her special day. It was an interesting marriage because in Khasi society, grooms leaves their ancestral home and goes to their wives home after marriage. We don’t get to see this type of marriage in most parts of the world so it was indeed, a unique experience.
