At the end of her solo routine at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, American synchronized swimmer Anita Alvarez lost consciousness and sank to the bottom of the pool. Her coach, Andrea Fuentes, didn't hesitate for a second, jumped into the water, and pulled her athlete to the surface. The dramatic scene was captured by a remote-controlled underwater camera. It is narrated by AFP photographer Oli Scarff, who operated the camera.
