I own a BOSCH GBS75_AE belt sander which I have been using for past 20 years. A few years ago, whilst sanding a floor, the sanding belt broke & it jammed between the rear roller wheel & the body of the sander. The lesson I learnt is that sanding belts have expiry dates from date of manufacture owing to the use of glue to bond the ends of the belt into a closed loop. The glue deteriorates over time, & even more so when stored in hot & humid conditions. This problem affects all belt sanders regardless of the brand/model or size of the sander. There is only one way to prevent this from happening, & I explain this in the video. I also explain how to remove the rear roller wheel in the BOSCH GBS75_AE sander if a sanding belt has broken off, & jammed in the rear roller wheel.
