Ridgid R4040S Tile Saw Review
When my old tile saw (the decent Ridged R4007 which I reviewed five years ago) developed a bad bearing just before a big tile job, I was forced to find a new saw quickly. My options locally were Home Depot, Lowes and Harbor Freight. This Ridged R4040S wet saw is what I ended up with, based partially on my previous good experience with the brand. However, this tile saw turned out to have a lot of problems related to design, manufacturing and packaging. For the money, it's a poor value. What a shame Ridged didn't just update their previous design and stay with a good thing.
