Fastest Known Time on the Fundy Footpath: A trail running film of endurance, ageing and friendship

Join professional photographer Mark Hemmings as he navigates the existentially weighty age of 50. On Mark's 49th birthday a goal was decided upon . . . to get listed on the Fastest Known Time website. This website tracks the endurance adventures of athletes from around the world, on the best trails and routes in the world. In Mark's home province of New Brunswick, Canada, there are a number of trails listed, and one of the toughest is called The Fundy Footpath which has sections within New Brunswick's Fundy National Park and the Fundy Trail Provincial Park. At just over 64 kilometres of rough single track and over 10,000 feet of elevation gain, this four to five day hiking trail would be condensed into a one-day trail run.
