"Hikobōe TV" Launches—Mitsunobu Matsuura, 66, Takes on a New Challenge Hello, I'm Mitsunobu Matsuura, Distinguished Professor at Kokugakuin University. After many years as a university professor, I've decided to start a YouTube program called "Hikobōe TV." The program will feature casual conversations across a variety of fields, including history, politics, literature, religion, and education. However, I'm not a critic or journalist. As a simple historian, I will frankly share my own thoughts and ideas. ・ Why did I start this program? I used to think "YouTube was just for young people," so why did I decide to step in front of the camera? It's because of the enthusiastic support of young people in the publishing industry and my sense that now is the time for me to "pass on my legacy." ・The hope behind the name "Hikoboshi TV" "Hikoboshi" refers to the new shoots that sprout from the base of an old tree.
