Sumatra Orangutan Trekking
Gunung Leuser National Park is the one of the only places in the world where you can find truly wild orangutans. Outside of the small village of Bukit Lawang, the orangutans here may be some of the last of their kind, which means it’s important to share their story so that future generations can see what incredible animals they are. In this episode, we are trekking through the jungle to find the Sumatran orangutans that call it home. There are lots of ups and downs in this adventure, but I hope you enjoy this footage and the photos I took!
