How to Make a Realistic Sunstar Effect in Photoshop - Landscape Photography
In this tutorial, I break down what a sunstar is & how to create a realistic one within Photoshop cc 2020 giving you the tools needed to create your own. Note: when it comes down to it, photography is an artistic expression and the sunstar I created for this video was what I thought fit well within the context of this image. You can modify the different sections of this tutorial (blur, amount of points etc) to create different kinds of stars depending on what image you’d like to put it in. The tutorial section was influenced by a 2013 video from Michael Woloszynowicz which was instrumental in helping me learn this technique.
