Bluefish On The Fly, Barnegat Inlet, NJ - Wooly Bugged

Bluefish: an active food and game marine fish (Pomatomus saltatrix) that is bluish above with silvery sides In this episode of Wooly Bugged, I meet up with my friend Greg Cudnik of Fisherman's Headquarters in Long Beach Island (LBI), New Jersey to try and catch my first striped bass or bluefish on the fly. Greg is a lifelong resident of LBI (Ship Bottom) and is one of the few charters that will explore the Barnegat Light area with fly fishermen. On the morning of the outing the tide was perfect, wind was minimal, and bunker were plentiful. We fished immitation forage fish patterns, including the white Clouser Minnow, Lefty's Deceiver, and some of Greg's hand tied creations. 99% of my videos are self-filmed. 99% of my videos are on water I've never fished. All streams are accessed on foot, in the case of the bays and oceans, I use boats.
