MIOSITIS OSIFICANTE CAUSAS SÍNTOMAS Y TRATAMIENTO IMAGENOLOGÍA DIAGNÓSTICA

Myositis ossificans is a reactive, and therefore benign, process that is generally solitary and localized. It commonly develops in striated muscle, but can also occur in other tissues such as subcutaneous tissue and tendons. The term "myositis" does not seem appropriate to describe this metaplastic bone formation, as it is not an inflammatory process, but the term remains in use nonetheless. #myositis ossificans
