A ghost cam is a software modification that fakes the lopey, choppy idle of an aggressive camshaft on an engine that either has no cam or has a milder one than the sound suggests. No parts come off, nothing gets installed, and the camshaft never changes. It is sound only, no power, no airflow, no real overlap.
