First Time Playing through a Portable Column PA System (Electro-Voice Evolve)

My first time playing a full solo gig through a portable column PA system — and it happened at the Florida State Fair. What a place to try something new. The system I played through was an Electro-Voice portable column PA, an older version of what eventually became the Evolve series. I didn't own it — it was provided at the venue — but it was enough to make me seriously consider ditching my traditional PA setup for good. Update: I ended up going with the EV Evolve 50M and haven't looked back.
