One year after Hurricane Helene devastated western North Carolina, we retrace our steps and revisit the families and communities still rebuilding from the storm. Alongside community leaders and ministries like Emerge, City of Hope Charlotte, and the Asheville Dream Center, they’re tackling housing, propane needs, and preparations for another winter.
