Just three days after picking up my Harley-Davidson Sportster 883R, the time came to write the first chapters of this story. Eight other members of the Moteiros M.C. (Motorcyclists' Motorcycle Club) and I left Santa Catarina heading to Ubatuba, São Paulo, to meet the other members of the club and celebrate the club's 5th anniversary, without imagining that the first day would be a true test for the bike, for our friendship, and for our will to keep going. This is Part 1 of the journey. Divided into two groups, we headed north, facing a full day of rain. The plan was to reach Peruíbe, São Paulo, where a rented house awaited us, but the road decided to write its own story. Between flat tires, falls, delays, and lots of rain, we were forced to change our plans and end the day in Cajati, São Paulo. But anyone who lives the motorcycling life knows: the best stories rarely happen when everything goes according to plan. Throughout this video, you'll follow my first big trip with the Harley-Davidson Sportster 883R, the thrill of taking a motorcycle I'd dreamed of for so many years on the road, the partnership with the Moteirada crew facing the challenges of the trip, and that spirit that keeps us going even when conditions seem to say otherwise. Because in the end, it doesn't matter what motorcycle you ride or what destination you choose.
