In 2012 he left the world of politics to spend more time on his smallholding in Glastonbury but still occasionally writes and presents news and documentaries on Radio 4. He is best known for his work on BBC1’s Politics Show between 2003 and 2012. About This Series Formerly known as 'No Milk Today', this channel is dedicated to a total food self-sufficiency project. Max aims to spend a year from September 2022 to September 2023 only eating and drinking food produced on his small farm in the South West of England - only allowing himself two imports – salt and tap water.
