This is that real Miami-style Chinese special fried rice—no peas, no carrots, just straight flavor. Loaded with seasoned rice, eggs, and your choice of meats, this dish brings that takeout taste right into your kitchen. If you’re from South Florida, you already know… this is how fried rice is SUPPOSED to be made. Quick, customizable, and perfect for using leftover rice—once you try this method, you won’t go back. Miami Style Special Fried Rice Recipe: Ingredients 3 cups cold cooked white rice (day-old is best) 2–3 eggs (scrambled) 1/2 onion (diced) 2–3 cloves garlic (minced) Green onions (chopped) 2–3 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional) 1 tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp white pepper (or black pepper) 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder Oil (vegetable or avocado) Protein Options (pick 2–3 for “special”) Diced chicken Shrimp Char siu pork (or any cooked pork) Ham, Beef (thin sliced) Instructions: Prep first – Have everything chopped and ready. Fried rice moves fast. Heat oil in a wok or large pan on high heat. Cook your proteins first → season lightly with salt/pepper → remove and set aside. In the same pan, scramble eggs → remove and set aside. Add a little more oil → sauté onions + garlic until fragrant. Add cold rice → break it up and stir-fry hard (this is key for texture). Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken bouillon, and pepper → mix well. Toss in cooked proteins + eggs. Finish with green onions + sesame oil. Stir everything together on high heat for that “wok hei” flavor. Pro Tips Cold rice = no mushy fried rice. High heat = authentic flavor. Don’t over-sauce it—you want balance, not soggy rice Social Media Links: Mystery bar kitchen Instagram:   / mysterybarkitchen   Mystery Bar Kitchen Facebook:   / mysterybarllc   Mystery bar kitchen TikTok:   / mysterybarkitchen   Subscribe to my channel and press the bell button to get notifications every time I post new recipes For business inquiries, email us at [email protected] Music by The Regeem (Tazz productionz X Mayno Beatz X K Scott) Artwork by Mayno Beatz-Email [email protected] Video edits by Tazz productionz #mysterybarkitchen #cheftazz #chinesefriedrice #housefriedrice #friedriceathome
