The former leader of Samoobrona (Self-Defense) hanged himself in his office, the headquarters of the party he founded 19 years earlier. Andrzej Lepper led the party to victory in the 2001 parliamentary elections, serving as Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Minister of Agriculture, and Deputy Prime Minister. His career collapsed in 2007 following the outbreak of the so-called land scandal, from which—according to those who knew him well—he never recovered. Further lawsuits, financial problems, and health problems followed. At the time of his death, Andrzej Lepper was a man deeply affected by life. Why did he decide to end it? Or perhaps someone forced him into it or led him on because he knew too much? Where do the numerous doubts about the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office after his death come from? This is discussed in Konrad Piasecki's report as part of the series "Secrets of the Third Polish Republic," which can be viewed in its entirety only on TVN24+: https://tvn24.pl/plus/programy/tajemn...
