Dear cycling enthusiasts, This tour, too, began with unplanned and surprising circumstances. First, the train journey via Dortmund to Winterberg, which would have been much faster and easier via Korbach. Then the crowds at the source of the Ruhr River and the upper cycle path, and also the condition of the path on the upper Ruhr Valley Cycle Path. You had to be very careful not to slip on the rough gravel. For the YouTube recordings, the gravel also caused considerable noise in the audio. But I didn't want to dilute the original conditions by turning off the sound. Nevertheless, I wanted to point out that this quality issue is known. Otherwise, the first day was very interesting in terms of scenery. If there hadn't been so many people on the road, you could have gotten the impression of being in a dream.
