His important mission was to fight the inhabitants of Caesarea, a fortified city in Palestine, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, Abdullah bin Hudzafah failed in this mission, losing the battle and being captured and taken prisoner by the Roman army.
