Using two different acrylic paints, I mix a rich dark green shade, which I apply to my canvas with a brush. Then, for a spring-like look, I add the Maya gold shade "Avocado", a bright golden-green and glittering effect colour. With lots of water, however, I apply the shade as a glaze. Then, using my smoothing trowel and various acrylic colours, I squeegee a picture that makes me think of a jungle or a rainforest. I used the pasty acrylic colours from Amsterdam Acrylics. At the end I will also show the finished picture when it hangs on a wall.
