Ridgid R4512 Table Saw withOUT Blade alignment Defect

I did a couple videos a little over a year ago showing what the defective trunnion looks like on a Ridgid R4512. I ended up exchanging that saw for this one and it has served me well ever since. Note, this is not the "updated" model with the "II" cast into the trunion. To maintain alignment it is critical that you keep the system under tension, which is done by tightening the height adjustment locking nob after the blade has been raised. If you lock it in place after lowering the blade the rear with kick to the left, away from the fence. After aligning my trunion I haven't had to touch it in almost a year and a half, and that was after a cross state move and countless projects. I'm aligned within less than .001" of an inch. If you have this saw I highly suggest scrapping the stock fence and upgrading to something like a Vega or Delta T2. The split rail design is terrible and adjusting the fence and keeping it aligned is a never ending battle. I'm beyond happy with the T2 upgrade and it's made me really love this saw, especially at the price point.
