Franklin Leopoldo e Silva | A negação do sujeito

Conceived and organized by philosopher Adauto Novaes, this year's Conference Cycle proposes an analysis of the relationship between violence and civilization. This edition aims to discuss the role of passions in the destinies of humanity, proposing to think of violence not only as the effect of objective causes, almost always attributed to economic and social reasons, but also as part of the human condition. With David Lapoujade, Eugênio Bucci, Francisco Bosco, Franklin Leopoldo e Silva, Frédéric Gros, Frédéric Worms, Gilles Battaillon, Guilherme Wisnik, Isabelle Delpla, Jean-Pierre Dupuy, José Miguel Wisnik, Luiz Alberto de Oliveira, Marcelo Coelho, Marcelo Jasmin, Maria Rita Kehl, Newton Bignotto, Olgária Matos, Oswaldo Giacoia, Pascal Dibie, Pedro Duarte, Renato Lessa, and Vladimir Safatle.
