Set against a village backdrop, this the story of Thaiyamuthu (Vikram Jagadish), an uneducated, but noble person who will go to any extent to make Panji (Neha) happy. The latter, who lost her parents at a younger age, has been brought up by her grandmom. Thaiyamuthu, who dreams of getting married to Panji, helps her to find a job so that they can settle down happily in their life. Panji’s grandmom who knows Muthu’s desire for her promises support to him. However, Panji’s life changes when she gets a job in a nearby town – where she falls in love with one of her colleagues.
