First Five Years 2015 — Ken Mbugua
Kenyan pastor Kenneth Mbugua preaches on the temptation of pride, a sin so pernicious and destructive that, if left unchecked, can destroy any ministry regardless of its outward success. He offers three aids to fight against personal pride, encouraging pastors to boast not in human ingenuity or effectiveness, but in the pride-leveling cross of the Lord Jesus. The one who is crucified, Ken says, is the One—the only One—who deserves glory. Pastors, do not try to steal the glory that Christ earned on the cross. ***** Watch the rest of the talks from First Five here: 9marks.org/First-Five.
