Welcome back to City Girl Village Life Africa! ❤️🌿 Join us for another peaceful and heartwarming day as Ifeoma prepares a delicious pot of Native Jollof Rice using simple ingredients and traditional cooking methods in our African village. The day begins with Ifeoma bringing out all the fresh ingredients needed for lunch and explaining each one before she starts cooking. While she gets everything ready, Mr. Okeke kindly helps by making firewood for the cooking, creating the perfect village atmosphere that many of us grew up knowing and loving. As the rice is washed and prepared, everyday village life continues around the compound. Mr. Okeke repairs his shoe while Ifeoma receives a lovely phone call from her husband. The family enjoys a warm conversation as her husband also speaks with his brother, Mr. Okeke, reminding us that family bonds remain strong no matter the distance. With Chibueze’s help, fresh pepper and crayfish are pounded the traditional way, bringing out the rich flavors that make Native Jollof Rice so special. The eggs are boiled while the rice is carefully prepared for cooking. Later in the day, Grandma and Chibuike return happily from the farm. Ifeoma warmly welcomes them with a hug, and Chibuike surprises her with fresh African pears harvested from the farm. Soon after, little Chidiogo and her friends head out together to fetch water, giving us another glimpse into the simple and beautiful rhythm of village childhood. Back in the kitchen, Ifeoma cooks the fish and cow skin while Chibuike and Chibueze help peel the boiled eggs. As lunch slowly comes together, Mr. Okeke prepares to leave the house to visit his wife at her parents’ home, while Chibueze quietly finishes his homework. Finally, the delicious Native Jollof Rice is ready! The entire family gathers around to enjoy the meal together, sharing laughter, love, and good food. Just as everyone begins eating, Edu arrives and is warmly welcomed to join the family lunch, proving once again that there is always room for one more at the table in the African village.
