Today, we are going to check and test out Eufy's Home Security 5 pc. Alarm Kit. This kit comes with the HomeBase 2, Keypad, Entry Sensors (2) and a Motion Sensor. We will do the unboxing, set it up, do the installation and test it and see if this Home Alarm system is a good option for your home. Also, note that if you already have Eufy's battery powered cameras like the Eufy Cam 2 and the 2C which comes with the HomeBase 2 and even the Eufy Cam E which comes with HomeBase, you don't need to get this kit. Just buy the sensors and the keypad separately which I will also link down below. Another note.. this is not a full featured alarm system like the Ring alarm or Simplisafe. There is no professional monitoring... you have to do the monitoring yourself. You will get notifications when the alarm gets triggered and you will be the one responsible to call the police or whatever you need to do to protect your property. It doesn't have backup battery power or cellular backup just in case of power or internet failure. This system relies on internet / WiFi.
