Two violent incidents have kept police busy across Auckland on Monday, One person was arrested and a homicide investigation was launched after what's understood to be a stabbing in New Lynn in West Auckland. Meanwhile, in Flat Bush in South Auckland, a man has been taken into custody after a police officer was shot, suffering minor injuries. That sparked a three-and-a-half-hour standoff with police that ended with a series of bangs. Imogen Wells has more.
