context !! Isabelle (19) is attending university and is apart of the popular clique at school. However due to her failing grades, she has to be tutored by another student to help her improve. There, she meets jennifer (19). At first they didnt get along due to the difference in jennifers social status but as time passes they began to get along and even become friends. At one point they soon realised they liked each other more than friends. However, isabelle has mixed feelings. She likes jennifer but because of her own internalised homophobia and of her friends, she isnt able to give herself fully to jennifer. One day when isabelle and jennifer were having a tutor session, they got distracted by each other and obviously did some stuff. Little did they know isabelles friend and her boyfriend ( they got together before isabelle and jennifer met) would walk in on them. Because of all the homophobia, isabelle blames everything on jennifer and acted like the victim. Because of this, jennifer was outraged and eventually cut ties with isabelle. 4 years later (now in the gcmv) isabelle is still haunted by the memory of jennifer and has been blaming herself for everything since they cut ties.
