Dr. Esteva serves as Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Previously, he held academic positions at New York University and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston). He is the author of numerous scientific publications and has led more than 100 clinical trials focused on the treatment of breast cancer, as well as the study of prognostic and predictive markers. His accolades include being named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, his election as a member of The American Society for Clinical Investigation, the 2019 Physician of Impact Award from Susan G. Komen NYC, and his election in 2024 to the Advisory Board of the American Cancer Society of New York City.
