At the Bosnian border, I was informed that I was banned from entering Bosnia. It is true that I am still bewildered because this happened without any reason or explanation. However, since things started going wrong at the border when I entered Montenegro, I can only view this day as simply being exceptionally unlucky. Crossing the border, which I thought would be easy, turned into a complete mess; I ended up crossing three countries, and on top of that, a situation reminiscent of the movie Terminal occurred. Still, it’s okay. I suppose things like this can happen. Although I feel more stressed than usual crossing borders since that day, I believe that if I meet a border official who cracks a joke or helps lighten the mood, this stress will eventually be overshadowed by a positive memory.
