Myopia is one of the fastest-growing public health challenges of our time. Early-onset myopia, beginning in young children, carries greater long-term risks for serious eye conditions. MiYOSMART iQ represents a major milestone: for the first time, a spectacle lens has shown it can intervene meaningfully from as early as age 4, before progression accelerates. Specifically, in children aged 4 to 12, myopic progression was reduced to just 0.25 D with MiYOSMART iQ, compared to 0.53 D in the single-vision group. Axial elongation dropped to just 0.075 mm.
