In our latest installment, we summarize our tour of El Salvador 🇸🇻 which we started in San Salvador touring its fascinating Historic Center with colonial buildings. On that same tour we took the opportunity to visit a place that had been recommended to us, we are referring to El Boquerón National Park, which contains a volcano and the curious thing about it is that within its main crater there is another smaller crater called Boqueroncito, if you come to San Salvador we recommend you visit it. Continuing our path, we went to visit the famous Ruta de las Flores that covers towns such as Nahuizalco, Salcoatitán, Juayúa, Apaneca and Concepción de Ataco; each of them with different but beautiful characteristics. On the road that this route covers, you will be able to see a great variety of flowers of all colors on the roadside; hence the name of this route. Another of the impressive routes is the Mayan Route, where we visited the Archaeological Sites of San Andrés, Joya de Cerén and Tazumal. The story that each of these jewels tells is incredible. After the Mayan Route, we headed to see the Ilamatepec Volcano, where we conquered its summit, which is among the highest altitude volcanoes in El Salvador. Nearby it is possible to navigate Lake Coatepeque through a ferry tour, or you can also rent a boat tour that will take you to the island of the lake; Or, rent a jetsky to walk freely around this impressive and beautiful lake. Surf City is a project that is attracting many international tourists and we already know why. The waves in this area of the country are perfect for surfing; Its coastal shore has many attractions including hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, surf schools, among others. In the Port of La Libertad you can find Sunset Park, a perfect place of attractions to watch the sunset in the company of friends and family. And for those who wonder about security, we tell you that at no time do we feel any danger when walking through its streets; Salvadorans today walk freely and feel an extremely friendly and hospitable environment; So what are you waiting for to visit El Salvador?
