Pastor started the "School of Faith" series with "The Realities of Faith." 1. Faith pleases God Hebrews 11:6 Romans 1:16-17 The gospel is God's saving power to everyone that believes. The righteousness connotes the nature of God, his character, and his dealings towards men. It is in the gospel that the righteousness of God is revealed or explained. Hence, the starting point of a relationship with God will be believing the gospel. Faith is what unlocks the nature of God to believers. 2. We are saved by grace through faith We are saved by grace, and faith is how we access that grace. The salvific grace is only accessed via faith. Romans 10:17 After the believer believed the gospel, faith no longer comes because the gospel he heard generated faith in him to be saved. Faith comes at the point of hearing the gospel, and because faith was generated in you, you do not lack faith. 3. We win in life by our walk of faith.
