Harry Potter: Behind the Scenes Of The Triwizard Tournament

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire gave us some of the best scenes in the entire franchise. The Triwizard tournament was so captivating we couldn’t help but want to talk about it! The work that went into the creation of the dragons deserves a round of applause or a bow or something. And not just the dragons but the creation of the scene. Daniel Radcliffe did one super dangerous stunt over and over again. The Yule Ball was rife with teens absolutely petrified of dancing. Rupert Grint learning to dance with Maggie Smith is filled with laughs behind the scenes. It’s just so precious! Radcliffe and Emma Watson are two of the most klutzy actors in the franchise. Emma’s dress was a serious stresser for her and so there were some things she just refused to do in it which was downright ridiculous of her. Daniel had far less time to learn to dance thanks to being the lead and so he’s just tripping all over his and other people’s feet. The scenes in the lake, we hate to break it to you, weren’t actually filmed in a lake. But can you guess just how much is CGI? And a lot of time went into putting on his fishy makeup and designing the merpeople. The maze was our first ever introduction to Voldemort so you know we’l be covering just how they made Ralph Fiennes’ face look like it did. And just for fun, we’re going to watch every single time Robert Pattinson was Avada Kedavra’d.
