How I Prepare Hardboard for Acrylic Painting

I'm often asked about the smooth surface that I paint on. It is simply a piece of Hardboard that I seal, prime and then sand for an ultra-smooth finish! I'll show you what I do and the products I use, as well as some insights I've gathered from using this type of painting substrate for more than 20 years.
