22nd étape of the Camino Francés from Hospital de Órbigo to Astorga (short version), route over Villares de Órbigo and Santibáñez de Valdeiglesias. All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks. After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out). COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020. Hope you enjoy the video.
