Native Pottery Demonstration with Garrett Maho (Hopi)
From the village of Sichomovi, Upper Polaaca, Arizona and of the Rabbitt/Tobacco Clan, Garrett has established his own style of Hopi pottery artistry through the guidance and teachings of his late material grandmother, Marilyn Mahle, as well as the mentorship of renowned traditional Hopi potter, Jacob Koopee, Jr. Garrett has over 35 years of experience working with Hopi clay, and has competed in numerous competitions, receiving prestigious awards throughout the Southwest.
