MONTBLANC salesman told me THIS was leather...

The salesman at Montblanc was very insistent that the interior of this Meisterstuck bag was real leather. The deconstruction confirmed my suspicion that the inside was PU. PU is an alternative plastic based material. 'PU Leather' only has 'leather' in the name. Overall, a well made bag with a great outside leather choice and well-thought design details that reflect Montblanc's heritage At this price point, it disappointing to see a fake leather lining in a luxury bag. This Montblanc bag will be among the first in the deconstruction series to receive some upgrades to the leather.
