Überführung ET442 & Ertüchtigungsfahrt ICN Refit – Hinter den Kulissen des Bahnalltags | SwissRails

On Corpus Christi, June 19, 2025, a transfer operation by TR TransRail and RailAdventure took place, during which a EuroSprinter from Akiem (BR 189), together with two coupling wagons and a “Hamsterbacke” (BR 442) from SWEG positioned in between, was transferred from Basel Bad Bf to the Bombardier maintenance center in Villeneuve VD. Additionally, RABDe 500 004 “Mani Matter”, the first ICN to undergo the new refit, was on a test run from Chur to the East production facility in Biel.
