About Old Barnsley In Colour. - Each video (volumes) has 32 images all of which were originally black & white. I use many different pieces of software on my MAC to colourise / upscale / repair / clean / add skies etc. My name is Stuart Sykes and I have lived in Barnsley all my life and its my passion to restore old black and white photographs of Barnsley. If I have a wish its to leave something to posterity and so here they are - I wish my parents who were both from the Barnsley area could have seen these images, I know they would have loved seeing them and remembering. The images in this video have been sourced from various places including internet searches, post cards, via email, messenger and other local websites.
