Birding Ghana November 2022 part two Rain forest

Ghana is a tropical country in West Africa, only a few degrees North of the equator. Grasslands mixed with coastal scrublands, remaining patches of primary rainforest and farmland dominate the Southern part. The Northern two thirds are dryer Savannah. Ghana is an very interesting birding country because of the diversity of its habitats. During a 17 day photographic tour we observed approximately 300 bird species. However getting good shots in the rain forest turned out to be very challenging and frustrating. But with the help of an excellent guide (Kwame Brown and his team from "adventure birding tours") we could succesfully record over 150 species.
