#104 - Tried to replicate my very first painting | Puddle Pour Marble Roll #fluidart #puddlepour

The Puddle Pour technique is when you pour distinct puddles of paint on a canvas or other substrate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Marble Roll involves using a marble or similar round objects to roll across the substrate through the paint allowing the marble to drag the different colors through each color creating lines and patterns as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today I am going to try to replicate the very first fluid art painting I have ever created, BUT by doing a Puddle Pour and wrecking it with a Marble Roll (for my very first painting all I did was throw the paint onto the canvas panel). Canvas used today: 8"x8" Artist's Loft canvas from Michael's Colors used today: Titanium White by Liquitex Basics Quinacridone Magenta by Liquitex Basics Mars Black by Artist's Loft Soft Body Ratios for paints: 2 parts pouring medium 1 part paint Pouring Medium used today: Flood Floetrol (the U.S. Floetrol, NOT the Australian Floetrol) Artist's Loft Gloss Pouring Medium All of the paint that gets spun off or tilted off of my canvases gets scraped into a container and reused. I recycle the paint to use as a base color, flow extender, jewelry or I will make a custom color from it.
