For the past year, Nigeria has become my everyday life. Returning to the UK made me notice something I hadn’t expected. In this vlog, I share my first Scottish breakfast after months away, how I packed fresh vegetables from Nigeria so they survived the journey, and the biggest contrast I noticed travelling from Lagos to the UK. The roads in Nigeria were full of people, businesses, movement and energy. Arriving back in the UK, everything felt so quiet. It made me reflect on how living in Nigeria has changed the way I see both countries.
