Alaïa Bay August 2022 - 4k - Complete advanced session inkl. Wipeouts

Such a nice experience to surf this artificial wave in the swiss alps. I had the idea to show the whole surf session, so that interested people can get an idea of how such a session looks like. You share a session with 12 other surfers. Per wave set 6 waves are produced which have a period of 4-5 seconds ish. After that the water calms down for about 1:30 min. So while the first group can paddle back comfortably, the second group gets ready. Within one hour you have the possibility to get about 14 waves. That is quite a lot. During the advanced session the wave size increases 3 about times and reaches the maximum height in the last sets.
